Image of Character:
Basic history of Character(About 2 paragraphs):
Toshiko, or better known as Tosh, is the technical expert of Torchwood, and is often described as polite, sweet and quiet, but highly intelligent, and quite the computer genius. Tosh is utterly and completely in love with her co-worker Owen Harper, and always has been. Although Owen doesn't seem to return her feeling Toshiko keeps hoping that someday he might see her in a new way. Now she's just settling with being his friend, and co-worker.
Just like the others at Torchwood, Toshiko doesn't have much of a social life, but unlike the others Tosh seems to accept this and doesn't really seek the company of people outside Torchwood, not even seeing her family anymore, who means quite a lot to her.
Toshiko is, as her name implicates, Japanese, and speak fluent Japanese. Although she doesn't seem to have much connection to her roots after cutting the ties with her family.
Roleplaying Sample (About 3 paragraphs):
Tosh leaned back in her chair. It was comfy and took the edge of the pain away. She glanced at the veggy pizza lying on the table between her and the TV, which was buzzing almost so low she couldn't make out what the people on it was saying.
Pushing the table further away from her with her foot, Tosh winched. The smell of her food was making her sick, and she felt the urge to throw up come back to her at the thought of ever consuming any kind of food again. She sigh and turned of the telly, glancing at her mobile next to her. Picking it up she quickly wrote a message, complying whether to send it or not. Biting her lip, Tosh scrolled down her phone list, which was quite short, and picked out the name of the only person she really wanted to speak to right now. Owen Harper.
Once again she paused, re-thinking sending the message she finally decide and clicked the red phone, deleting the message. Standing up she threw the mobile on the floor, drying of the tears that now rolled down her cheek. She needed a drink. And a strong one.
